(no subject)
So lastnight I was bored (*cough cough* WHATS NEW *cough*) and I wanted to go see The Grudge. So i told Ian we were going to see The Grudge.So we did.Honestly...scariest fucking movie I've ever seen.AND I NEVER GET SCARED IN SCARY MOVIES!It was sweeeet though, i loved it.Ya'll need to go see it for real.Kayako or whatever her name was (the woman ghost) her throat-croaking noise HOLY SHIT that's haunting me.lkjadfkajsdhf9w8efsakdjfsdf I was all spooked lastnight sitting down here all alone in the dark then going up to bed....the bed scene..asld;fijasdlfkjaoiefjs!!!!Freaky.
So anyways yesterday i got into an artsy mood.I'm not an artist AT ALL but I decided I wanted to go draw with my charcoal.I'm like..obsessed with the Jack the Ripper story, i'm not sure why..but there's just something about it that I've always loved.I've always had this picture in my head of Jack standing beneath a gaslamp in the cobblestone streets of 1888 London...and the lamp light just shines a dim foggy glow down on him, illuminating his tophat and cloak..then the cloak like merges in with the darkness surrounding him.Anyways I thought it'd make a cool picture..so here's my try at it:

Yeah it's somewhat shitty i'm aware haha.I messed up the streetlamp and you can see my fingerprints all over the white part..and I wish i had drawn in a bit of cobblestone someplace.Maybe I'll go back and fix it some.
And then as I was doing the Ripper picture, this little wonder happened.So I was using a blank sheet of sketch paper to wipe my charcoal-covered fingers off on as I worked, then when I was done I glanced over at the paper and saw this:

And I thought to myself..that looks almost cool..like ghost hands..like a bunch of wailing ghost hands being thrown up against a piece of glass,fingertips slowly smearing,dragging down along it.CREEEPPPYY i know! But it happened by accident and I liked it! SO i worked with it a bit and that's what came out.
Oh yeah and this is my Selene from Underworld (best movie in the world) charcoal picture.It's also rather shitty but I'm not done with it yet:

Her arms are too skinny and shapeless and the tail of her jacket looks like a flat piece of paper, her legs are oddly shaped and i screwed up her boots and made them look not as hard-core and clunky.Oh yeah and her Beretta looks stupid too since I can't draw a gun to save my life.Anyways.Enough of my little art expo.
Two really weird things happened yesterday.Just..little, weird things..but they were weird nontheless.So weird thing number 1.
-While I was sitting on my floor doing my drawings, I had my stereo remote sitting beside me.When I was done I got up and picked up the remote and tossed it back onto my bed.As I was standing beside my bed,looking down at my floor picking up something else, I just like threw the remote but I heard it start sliding off because it didn't land well.Still looking at the floor picking up whatever I was picking up(my cell i think), i just like shot out my hand towards my bed because i could hear the remote falling and like 4 inches above the ground i caught it......without looking once.It happened so fast and then I just stood there a minute looking at it in my hand haha.Did that even make sense?I'm not very good at describing actions.
Weird thing number 2-
-I was sittin down on the couch watching tv with ian after the grudge and i was holding a water bottle.I was holding it by like the cap,holding it horizontal when I went to toss it back onto the coffee table.Somehow as I threw it to the table, it like moved upright and landed perfectly on the table.That was just weird.We were like.."whoa." Haha that's so random but I THOUGHT IT WAS COOL BECAUSE I THREW IT HORIZONTALLY AND WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THROWING A BOTTLE AND HAVING IT LANDING PERFECTLY UPRIGHT!!!Yeah not cool caitlin.Anyways.
This is the first time i've written a lot in awhile.Yay for that.I'm cooking dinner tonight and I'm gonna start doing it every sunday night.Tonight's menu is Southwestern chipotle-lime grilled chicken with pineapple salsa and marinated-grilled vegetables.Hope it doesn't suck haha.
Time to go shower...have a lovely day my lovelies!
