I've been starting to be a little more optimistic about my situation here.
I've started being a little more responsible. I clean more. I keep everything organized generally. I am saving money
I calculated that by September, I should have enough money for car. Well Late September. Maybe October. Thus, this is when I plan to move out. I do want to move in with Brittany, but I want my own room. So I might be moving in with my friend Paul and his 2 friends. We can get a 3 bedroom apartment and pay only 250 a month each. Wooooo. The one we looked at is in Canton, it's really nice. It's called Meadowood Homes. Really shnazzay.
I'm actually quite excited.
I'm looking into getting a 2nd job or a full time job. I found a few. I could work for the IRS, be a photographer, or bartender. I am calling the bartending number on Monday for sure. It's for a Hotel in Livonia, I am not sure what one. You make $20-$60 an hour and they give you paid training.
You can be full or part. If I find tat I can do this, I am being part time until I get a car.
I decided that while I am here, I will take a 1 year degree program. I don't know if you can get your associates with it or not. I will see what the difference is. It will be in Music Recording Technology. So I will basically be learning how to be a sound engineer. Woo. That will help me a lot with what I want to do. They get paid on average $15 an hour, starting, and $40,000 a year.
Which is really good. That's if I didn't continue my schooling. If and when I go to Ferris I will learn the business aspects of Music.
Which is awesome because it includes internships and has 100% placement after graduation. When I go to my math class, I am going to the financial aide office, I am going to apply for a scholarship. A lady that works in there told me about it when she came through blockbuster. So it will help me pay for the school here. I am also seeing a counselor so I can see what classes I can take here that will transfer to my program at Ferris. Hopefully I can do what my dad's friend's daughter did. She took as many pre-req's as she could here, so she only had to go to Ferris for 2 years to complete her degree. That way I would only have to take out a 30,000 loan. Maybe even less. Depending on how I do here at Schoolcraft, I may qualify for a scholarship.
:)
So things are looking up for me. Considering I have some pretty good things planned.
Now if only I could find a boyfriend ♥
