(no subject)
so i went to hamenasset beach (CT) today w/ juli, her mom, and her sister. little hazy out but figured it was gonna be a good day. layed around for about 45 minutes and i got hot so me and juli decided to go in the water. so we're out there for 20 minutes or so and i was about to say "well the water's not so bad, not too cold and not too warm" when all of a sudden WAAAAM!!! it feels like i got stabbed in the leg, so i throw juli away from where i was and WAAAAAM!!! i feel it again and as i'm walking towards shore i can feel it burning all down my leg. so by this point i realize that i just got stung my a jellyfish from my knee down to my ankle and apparentally the thing wrapped itself around my entire leg because my whole leg was getting puffy red spots all over it. i desperately wanted someone to pee on my leg (saw it on "friends"). this is one of the worst pains i've felt in a long time (almost like someone was pouring battery acid on my leg), and all i can do it sit there and stick it out. so 30 minutes goes by and juli's mom calls her boyfriend and he says to rub ocean sand all over it and it'll kill the pain. so juli came to the rescue and rubbed me down (which killed) and the pain was gone 5 minutes later. i think subconsciously i wanted someone to pee on my leg though...
madden '06 officially comes out in 10 and a half hours. i get out of work at 4:00PM tomorrow and i'll be going immediately over DL's house w/ kyle (who will probably already be there) to get our asses handed to us by DL. i'll be buying it for x-box, DL plays it on PS2.
going to the cape next monday-friday, i'm happy to get another mini-vacation in before summer's over.
i want to get a huge poker tournament going the week i get back from the cape. $50 buy-in. 20+ people. nice big prize pool. should be awesome. let me know if you're interested.
