how many times can tim wakefield get screwed? the guy has the 2nd best ERA on our team (only by 0.12 to schilling) and he has our worst W-L record for a starting pitcher. i'd take him on the mound over our other starters anyday.
Curt Schilling: 9-2 (3.81 ERA)
Josh Beckett: 7-3 (5.27 ERA)
Matt Clement: 5-4 (6.68 ERA)
Tim Wakefield: 4-7 (3.93 ERA)
maybe it's cause i've always like wakefield, and maybe it's because his middle name's stephen. but all i know is that he's one of our best pitchers and it's sickening to hear people say he sucks just by seeing his wins and losses.
p.s. - this has nothing to do with anything except the fact that it's 1:30AM and i have the civil service exam bright and early but can't sleep. so chew on that. bitches.
