SUNSHIIIIIINE ! :D
steph invited a bunch of us from work to go her convocation yesterdayyy. she made it mandatory to wear pink for her pictures and i managed to comply lol. my original plan in the morning was to bus to stc, pick up a pink tank top, change, and then wait for the others to meet up at stc for our bus ride down to ut, but ru decided to drive us all to the campus (thanks ru !). i completely forgot about the h&m shirt i bought a while back in my closet, so i wore that and saved some money : )
ru, jennica, angus, chris, and i made our way to the field to take pictures with steph and her friends. it took us a lot longer than busing to get down, though.. blame the bad directions lol. after pictures, we went over to richtree for dinner, and then made our way back uptown :p it took an hour and a half for me to get home cause we were stuck on local. i ended up missing the bachelorette, too : ( instead i watched some big bang theory that kevin burned for me haha.
christine and i made our way down to queen street for an afternoon of shopping today : ) muahahaha i woke up earlier than her too ! on the subway ride to queen, there was a guy wearing a dom rebel t-shirt sitting ahead of us. i checked out his tats on his arm and saw that he had the dom rebel "what defines you is not what defines me" blurb inked onto his right forearm and.. LAME. this guy is either obsessed with the label or he's an important part of the company - i'm putting my money on the former. lol anyways, we walked a nice loop through the shops and soaked in some sun. we looked at shoes the most, but didn't pick up any. i still want these pair of seychelles gold strappy flats from little burgundy, except the price tag is breaking my heart : ( at the end of the trip i got a green-yellow skirt from billabong for $30 (ripoff haha) and ALMOST picked up a turquoise wrislet/swing bag for $25 at te koop.
we were starvingggg and decided to head back to eatons and grab something to eat from the food court. christine went into aerie for a bit while i returned a call from the ece student affairs lady at ryerson. turns out the admissions peoples reconsidered my academic standing and i've been cleared to stay in my program :D happy day haha. we went back outside to the intersection and grabbed some street meat for only 2.50 and 3.50 ! so good too lol. we were still hungry so we grabbed another hawdawg and split it for the trip home :p
