On sunday night, right before I had left for Sarah's, but right after I was done packing, Jessica broke up with me. Not enough time, etc...Even though she has plenty of time for Jesse and Janice, there's just not enough to go around I suppose. She said it was unfair to me to put me through that kind of relationship. So, I did what anyone in my position would have done, I did not fight it, I said it was her decision...she called me unfair, but I still stuck to it. She was not willing to compromise, even though I had always compromised for her. In the end I said I had to go with promises to call her in a few days. Probably hollow ones though, I doubt I'll call her.
So I headed to Sarah's for 3 days of pot-smoking, adventure-having fun. And that it was!
We were stoned for the whole 3 days (still feeling a bit guilty about that, but not guilty enough). The biggest adventure of the 3-day vacation was our trip to the cemetary.
We had gotten incredibly stoned, grabbed some flashlights, and set out for the Union Cemetary in Calgary (hence where we were living)...not too far, about a 10 min walk from Sarah's. We got lost a bit, smoked another joint, then set out to find our way out, being careful to be respectful of the deceased. We ended up in a really old section, like 1804-1822 type thing. I saw this one gravestone that was for a girl, aged 14, and her son, who died 23 days after her, 23 days old. I assume she died giving birth, and her son didn't survive either (premature?).
Anyways...it was scary, but fun. Heather saw a guy dressed all in black walking down the middle of the road. So we ran into the graveyard across the street, this being the Burnshill Cemetary. Anyways, we couldn't find our way out, so we finally found a little gate to get out...and the cops came! Turned out the guy had been the comissioner of the cemetary, and had seen our flashlights. The cop was making stupid crypt jokes, like "People are dying to get in here." After looking at my ID for what seemed like forever, he replied, "Well, Amanda, I'm afraid we have some bad news for you..."
I freaked.
Simple as that...I could have swore I had paid off all my fines, etc...anyways
he then said "You won't be coming with us tonight."
Jerk.
Anyways, that was that...then we went to Georgie's and Iva's, listened to her talk about her $600 wedding dress, drank, and had a ball, went home, and passed out.
That was my famous adventure with a lot of drugs, and my 2 best friends...
