Zzzz...
We are about 80% moved. Yay! I wasn't expecting us to be able to get so much done so fast.
I have been perpetually tired for the last few days due to a lack of sleep. I haven't been able to relax, even when I do manage to get a moment to rest. For instance, I just dreamed last night that I couldn't even get hired at a Toys R Us. How sad is that? Am I the only one that gets randomly assaulted by their dreams? Like, for weeks on end I will have terrible, negative dreams about me being a loser or fucking things up. It's tiring =/
Our new place is faaabulous. Sunnier than our last, with real hardwood flooring (as opposed to the other place that had laminate), vaulted ceilings, etc. Most importantly, there is the washer/dryer in-unit. I have done at least 8 loads of laundry already. I just wanted to get everything nice and fresh for our new place :)
In theory I will get those swatches in the mail this week. I'm really antsy to have them, because I want to get started on the gown. Today or tomorrow I'll bind up that last seam and take some pictures of the corset for you guys. I must warn that it isn't pretty. It looks like an undergarment (plain white, boring). I'll be making my next one pretty, though.
