A note to the Christian Right...
I understand that you hate the idea of abortion... I myself don't know that I could ever make the choice but I want to at least know that I HAVE that choice.
However, I present this argument to your forcing of thou opinion on us lesser heathens...
Lets just say that your little princess gets pregnant and really can't come to your for advice or help... and before you say "Well my kids know they can always come to me for something like this" or "We raised our children so this would never happen", You were a teen once... did you ever think that you could take something like this to your parents?
I know that answer is NO.
So your little princess is knocked up... would you rather have your child go to an abortion clinic, with trained doctors and nurses and sometimes even psychologists, that would take care of princess in a clean environment and make sure she is ok to walk out the door?
OR
would you rather have the same little princess go to a place she heard about from a friend, where there is no trained doctors or nurses or clean environment or ability to make sure she is ok before walking out the door, and have them shove a coat hanger or other dirty instrument up her?
Did I mention that there is the possibility of princess bleeding to death, or contracting some unknown disease from those unclean tools?
Think about it...
Have your princess loose her innocence because she has to deal with making the decision to abort a child? (where you could show that you are good parents by helping her recover and take care of her mental health by councilors and loving her)
OR
Have your princess bleed to death in her bed from hemorrhaging, contract AIDS, Hepatitis, and other blood born diseases or perhaps commit suicide because of the decision she feels she cannot talk to anyone about?
