This has been a pretty good week! Yesterday's Hospitality Competition was hilarious fun, and my team was totally awesome. We made the best frigging beds the whole of Georgian College campus has EVER seen. I was on my feet pretty much all day during that, then worked a four hour shift during which I didn't sit down ONCE, so I was pretty beat.
Today, I had to go to New Market (just outside Toronto) for a doctor's appointment, and recieved insanely good news, for those interested, just ask. Then we went shopping at the Upper Canada Mall. (We being mom, Leslie, Ty and I). I got a new soccer ball. :) Very nice. Haven't named him yet.
HMMM. Tomorrow, I have another hair appointment to get the black redone, then we're going next door for dinner. Saturday, I work 8-3, as well as Sunday. After I get off work on SUNDAY, I'm going into Toronto with Hans.
I found THE perfect way to get all my community hours PLUS more. This summer, the Royal City Soccer Club is asking for volunteers to help little kids learn soccer at their camp. So I'm gonna go there for a week, and help out. It'll be great. :D
I've also decided to go on the Paris/Spain trip during next year's March break. Isn't that insane? I had my doubts. I wanted to go back to Nova Scotia for that time. But you know what? At what other point in my life am I gonna be able to go to Spain and Paris? Nova Scotia can come ANY time. So like. WTF, eh? Hans was talking to me. He gave me a lot of great advice, and I'm feeling really good right now.
You know. He asked me, that out of all my friends in Greenwood, which ones did I think, if I called them up right now, and said 'I need you', they would do anything to help me out, would actually do it. I could only think of two. I told him. And he said, 'now, how many of your friends did you just disclude.' A lot. It's sad, but it's comforting too. Because I have two friends that I'm almost positive would do anything to help me, and me with them. Maybe there are others that would, maybe, but I didn't feel it.
Life moves on, eh? And so do you, but there are always those few people that move along with you.
III need a shower. :D
