Ashleigh and I are kids. Little, young, barely five-year-old kids.
Or, at least, we act that way.
Easter was awesome, and included us getting up early, running around like idiots, finding eggs and going on scavenger hunts. Ashleigh's eggs were all over the house. Mine were all over the neighbourhood! In what way is THAT fair?! I had to go out into the backyard, the garage, the car, our MAIL tinhgy down the street and even to Hans and Caroline's! And to top it all off, I had to beg TYLER for my basket at the end. So unfair.
HOWever, my basket was full of an insane amount of chocolate and candy, plus The Incredibles DVD (Yaaayy!!) and a really nice silver ring that mom and Ty picked out. It only fits on my thumb though, but that's okay because that's my favorite place for rings.
ANYway. Ty's parents went somewhere for Easter and he stayed behind, so we dragged him over here. So Ashleigh, him and I didn't have to eat with the adults (the Kissmans came over), we just ate downstairs and watched movies. Then we made ginormous sundays and Ty beat me.
Yesterday I was feeling pretty crappy, but Ash and I managed to go chalk in the driveway (we got chalk in our baskets too, of COURSE, as it is a time-honoured tradition.)just before supper. We drew Canada! And then all the stuff that each province is known for. Oh yes, I kid you not.
And today, I'm really sick. And feeling crappy again, but in slightly good spirits.
Sadly, Joan of Arcadia has become more like a soap opera than the quirky, sharp show I once knew.
I'm gonna go curl up and watch the first season then, hmm?
