A very long time...
It's been such a long time since I have updated my LJ, but I never have time for anything anymore. People might be wondering why I'm not at Channel 7 this morning going crazy over a hurricane that is still so far away, but I decided not to work today because I'm fed up with some of the crap at my work. See, I'm not that type of person that likes to kiss ass a lot! to get the job that I want. I like to be myself and get hired for who I am and the talent that I can give. It seems that some people at my job get to do more stuff by kissing ass and I'm not going to bend down to their stupid level. So, I'm boycotting Saturday and on Monday I'm taking a stand and saying hey I want to do packages! See, the most a writer can do is packages ( those things that say here's so and so with more on this) and then you see video and a voiceover of the reporter (them talking in the back). I don't get to do that. But, other people hired after me do. I mean WTF! So, you know what I'm taking a stand Monday. But, I love the rush of breaking news. I mean poor London people, but the news station was crazy and I was just sitting there so I got up and started feeding video (recording them from the satelite because FOX and CNN sends us live video). But, enough of journalism stuff. My babe comes back in two weeks! Hopefully no hurricane will affect that because I will cry, but he's doing great and I'm so excited. It's getting harder for him as it ends but he is so determined so yay! This week has been crazy and weird, but hopefully next week it will be ok and chillin since we have all those frat parties so yay. I plan on going really tired to work, but you only live once so w/e. That's it for now I felt like LJ was lonely so it needed my update.
