Shizuka got scared and her heart's beat got faster. She felt her legs heavier because of the fear. She took out a small mirror from her bag. A man was following her. That man was used to come to the library where she works part-time job. Shizuka started to run,then went in a super market. She hid behing a store.
"Oh my god... what do I do ? what do I do ?" she said. she was almost crying.
At that moment, she remembered that bright face. That sweet smile on that bright face. telling her :"Here. you can call me at anytime, if you need anything. I'll come right away."
She took the paper that Kouhei gave her and called him.
-"Yo-Yoshida-San ?" Shizuka asked ?
-"euh... yes. who is it ?" Kouhei answered surprised.
-"ah, Shizuka desu. Yoshida-San... Please..." Shizuka's voice couldn't be understood after that.
Kouhei doubted that something wasn't normal. He left his friends, went out the arcade and started running after asking Shizuka where she was hidden. At that same time, the stalker was still in front of the super market, waiting for his target.
Kouhei arrived and noticed him. He went in and started looking for his so-called friend. He found her sitting in a corner, down on the floor. Her face was pale and tears were dropping on her cheeks. He got near her.
" Shizuka... are you okay ? what's going on ?" Kouhei said as he put his warn hand on her shoulder.
She turned aroud to face him and said :
"in front of this super market... there's a man..."
"ah yes. I saw him. he's waiting, I think. what's with that ?" kouhei answered.
"he followed me from school to here and he's been waiting for me, that's right... Yoshida-san, I don't know what to do... I'm scared."
Shizuka stopped talking and closed her eyes, trying to calm down. Sudently, Kouhei grabbed her arm, getting her closer to him, and hugged her. her face turned red.
"Don't worry. I'm here. Everything will be Okay. I'll protect you. just believe in me." Kouhei said as he let go of Shizuka.
Confused, she nodded without saying a word. Then, he grabbed her hand and went out the super market with her.
Out there, the man was just in front of them. Shizuka looked down as she continued holding Kouhei's hand. The man got surprised at seeing them.
"You..." the stalker couldn't finish.
Kouhei faced him, then looked right into Shizuka's eyes.
"Shizuka... I love you." He said just before kissing her. in front of the stalker.
Shizuka opened her eyes wide and turned into a tomato.
She tried to push him away, but couldn't.
<> Shizuka thought. Saving her by... a kiss ?!
