Cornell University

I finally got around to uploading the pictures I took at Cornell University a few weeks back. Quality isn't great, but it's decent ^^
I also wrote a little "story" about my adventures to and from Cornell xD It was a 4 hour car ride! I even got to finish Atonement, which was craaazy.

Here it is:

Today was a pretty amazing day. Yes, the day did go by in a blur, a blur that went by too quickly, because I spent a good portion of the day in a car with my brother, my cousin and his wife. However, my reason for, what you can call a road trip, was to visit the beautiful campus of Cornell University. Honestly, it feels like I've been enlightened after visiting such a magnificent place. The car ride in total was 4 and a half hours going and possibly more coming back. I witnessed the many joys, and flaws of country life from the back seat of a small car through a foggy window I had to constantly wipe with a tissue my cousin-in-law, whom I will be referring to as 'unni' now, provided me with. The day was cold and damp, not a perfect day to drive hours on end, but I wasn't one to complain.
After just a single rest stop, we reached Cornell. I, honestly, would not have known I was even in Cornell had it not been for the sign placed at the entrance of the campus; it was like I was in a little neighborhood, both quaint and peaceful. We looked around from the comfort of the car, though getting out once in a while to take a look at the landscape and explore some of the various buildings on campus. We came a across the lake then, a beautiful creek that words cannot begin to describe. At first, the scenery was obscured by frozen trees and ferns, though by diverging from the road for a bit, it was possible to get a full glimpse of the magnificence. I stood in awe of the beauty with my cousin as by brother and unni waited patiently in the car. I snapped a few pictures here and there, but no picture can fully capture it's majesty.
We left then; circling around one last time, seeing the miniature waterfalls from over a bridge and catching a glimpse of deer (BAMBI!) frolicking in the frozen snow. I said good-bye to Cornell then, promising to return one day, and for more than just a few hours.
The drive home was less strenuous than the drive there. We stopped for dinner about an hour after leaving campus, and then resumed to drive home. It got dark in a hurry, quickly throwing the world around us in darkness, fog and constant rain. The fog and rain made it difficult to see the quiet road, forcing us to blindly follow the taillights of the car hundreds of yards ahead of us, praying it doesn't decide to drive off a cliff, taking us down with it. This went on for a good portion of the ride, making the ride seem more like an adventure than a simple drive home; adrenaline coursed through my veins, even though I wasn't even the one driving.
We made it back home in one piece and I was grateful to be able to sit still on a chair without bouncing back and forth. The day was long, but it was worth it. Cornell is my dream college.

I don't normally talk like that, but I felt...poetic, I guess o____o; I'm a strange one -o-;
