night only event, Party Monster The Event, at Emerald City in Philadelphia
on Friday, June 25th. This event will be featuring Superstar DJ Keoki
performing live!
The drama and pomp of the "Club Kid" movement is being brought to life once
again through Party Monster The Event. Super Star DJ Keoki will be
performing live from 12AM - 2 AM with special guests Dr. Octo-Pussy and Mike
Saga. The event is from 10 PM - 3:30 AM with ½ price drinks from 10 PM to 12
AM. Your hosts for this night are a bunch of Club Kid Go-Go party animals.

Party Monster the new film by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato staring
Macaulay Culkin, Seth Green, Chloe Sevigny, and Marilyn Manson chronicles
the story of Michael Alig, a prominent club promoter in the Club Kid era.
Keoki was responsible for providing the soundtrack and a visual inspiration
as well for this cultural phenomenon. As a product of the NYC “Club Kid” era
of the early nineties, Keoki found himself caught up in the rise of the
underground dance music scene and was an integral part of its swift ascent.
He has become a record spinner of international renown, the charismatic “Bad
Boy of Techno,” and a figurehead of the vital and often controversial “rave”
movement. Keoki helped pave the way for the electronic music boom that truly
reached stratospheric proportions by 1997. Once again, Keoki had busted down
the doors and helped to facilitate a phenomenon. The rave scene in America
was born and as one of the first traveling DJs, Keoki was propelled into the
limelight. Keoki is America's own superstar DJ. Alongside the stalwarts from
across the sea, Keoki stands tall: A million records sold. Magazine cover
boy. Billboard Dance Chart dominator. Cross-country jetsetter. Sought-after
mixmaster for exclusive private soirees. A major musical contributor to a
cultural phenomenon. A pioneer for dance music in the USA. At a time when
dance music is embattled with the Rave Act, Keoki is returning to his roots,
remaining true to his belief in the power of music and its ability to push
