I have a day off, thankfully. I love having days off, no standing around and coming home with sore feet at the end of the night. I swear, those gel insoles didn't do a thing to help mes pieds. Oh well, baths/showers are always more relaxing. Not to mention saves me from smelling like a perma-burger. I'm working back at the resturant I worked at between my first and second year of uni. But this time I'm being trained to be the night-shift supervisor. Apparently I'm a night person, maybe I'll meet Batman before closing? When I'm not working there, later in the summer I'll be selling fireworks and other assorted goodies during the day. Fireworks are grand.

After clicking around on the school website I found out that the courses for the fall semester are able to be viewed - registration day isn't for a few more weeks, but I was able to kind of, "bookmark" courses that seemed interesting to take. It's going to be my fourth year come September. (Holy shit, that went by rather quickly). After figuring out that I have (nearly) all the requirements finished that I need for my double major in English and philosophy, I decided that in the two semesters left that I was going to take classes that really interested me. Not that previous classes didn't interest me, they did very much so - but this time there's even more leeway for what I want to take.

Right now, these courses look interesting:
- (English) Literature in English to the 18th century
- (English) Literature in Britain: the 18th Century to the present
- (English) 17th century studies - 17th century women's writing
- (English) Documentary and Docudrama
- (English) Major authors of the 18th century - swift, jonathan and pope
- (English) American studies - african american literature
- (English) Canadian fiction
- (French) Oral expression
- (Geography) Introduction to physical geography [this one I need, I need 3 more credits of science)
- (Philo) Philosophy in the 18th century - lock, rousseau and hume
- (Philo) Aesthetics
- (Philo) Biomedical Ethics
- (Psych) Mental Health and Pop Culture

There are a few English courses that I need to take, and I need to take a science course... so far it looks like I'll be taking six courses each semester. I hope not. Five is enough (class time doesn't really matter) once you factor in assignments, midterms, final exams and everyone's favorite - term papers.
