I hate the orthodontist. This thing in my mouth is driving me nuts. I can't chew, swallow, or speak properly. And it keeps stabbing my tongue. :( It's harder to eat with this than with the braces. I'm fully expecting it to be another one of those "get new orthodontic appliance, lose ten pounds in a week 'cause you can't eat" things.
I was at the orthodontist's for two hours. It didn't take the that long to put the braces in. My mouth was so dry after. Well, yeah, it had been open for two hours...
I'm just wondering how the hell they're going to take this arch off. It was built on a cast of my mouth, and they had to break that to get it off. It's not like they can just break my mouth when they take it off...
Hopefully it'll stop irritating me in a week or two.
Any 'd', 't', or 'w' comes out sounding like blowing air, 's' and 'th' are a 'sh'-ing whistle, 'ch' is a 'ts' and 'r' and 'l' are coming out as that Japanese mixed 'r'/'l' sound.
I left my sweater in my dad's car. :(
I can't believe I've just got three days of school left. This has been my best semester of high school. Enjoyable classes, and light workload. I think I've got all the boring teachers next year. :( Second semester next year's going to be hell. English and French. And Bio. I've heard that Grade 12 Bio is much, much harder than the Grade 11 Bio would lead you to believe.
What I've learned this year: whale skeletons have fingers, Chem teachers are fucking awesome, next year, I get to play with lego in Philosophy.
