Tricky
It was really cold outside, but Jaejoong like being there right now. He sits on the edge of the balcony area while staring at the night skies. The moon shining prettily and the stars twinkle brightly really calm his mind. He didn’t know how long he’s been there…..
“What are you’re doing here? It’s cold…..” Suddenly an arm wraps around him. He smiled. He doesn’t need to guess, he already familiar with the warmth, voice and even with the scent.
“Ah…you’re already awake?” Jaejoong turned to look at the owner arms that still hugging him tightly from behind. He felt the arms loosen around his waist and was pulled to turn around to face him.
“Yes of course….That was the greatest sleep that I ever had this year. Thanks to you” Yunho peck his lips and then sits beside him. Jaejoong smiled and then caress his face that staring at him softly. The face that shows tiredness and exhaustion with all the things happened lately….
“I’m glad to hear that Yun. I know you got lack sleep since I’ve been hospitalized. Your eyes bags really scary but…. cute sometimes…looks like a panda.” Jaejoong decide to tease him a little. Yunho snorted but Jaejoong just laughed at him.
“Yah! Don’t tease me…” Yunho pouted but his heart felt really happy to hear the sweet laughter again. It was the sweetest sound that he really missed before.
“I’m not…..” Jaejoong tries to stop laughing while shaking his head. But Seeing Yunho pouted even more make him burst to laughter again.
“You little devil….come here you..….” Yunho was about to tickles him when suddenly his phone rings.
“Yun…your phone’s ringing….” Jaejoong look at Yunho phone that he put on the balcony table few meters away from the place they sat.
“Ignore it…” Yunho actually didn’t want their romantic night to be disturbed. He wants to spend his time, more with his Jae. That’s why he decides to ignored the call.
“Yun..that might be important call.”
“Ok..fine..fine…that’s better important or I’ll kill whoever the caller is!” Yunho sighed while walking to the table. Jaejoong let go a relief sighed.
“Hello…” Yunho frowned since he can’t recognize the number that show up on the phone screen. There a long silent for moments. This situation makes Yunho curious more.
“Mr. Jung Yunho….It’s me Hm….Daniel Oh…Jaejoong stepfather.” The other line finally answers. Yunho blood suddenly boiled when he heard the caller name. He really didn’t expecting to get phone call by that man.
“How dare you……………!” Yunho stop from talking when he saw Jaejoong come towards him.
“What’s wrong?” Jaejoong asked curiously after saw Yunho furious face. It’s rare to see Yunho uncomfortable and angry face like that.
“Wait here baby……” Instead answering him, Yunho pecked Jaejoong forehead and then walk inside. Jaejoong look at him with confused face. Instantly he knows, Yunho’s hiding something from him. He watched Yunho figure disappear from the door and then sighs……From the way Yunho react moments ago, he knows that call might got something to do with him.
“What do you want?” Yunho asked firmly. There’s no friendly tone in his voice.
“I’m sorry to call you like this……But I need to call you since I know Jaejoong will not agree to this without your permission.” Hearing the man’s uttering Jaejoong names make Yunho even more furious. He really hates this man and even Jaejoong mother for disturbing and invading his Jaejoong peaceful life again.
“What do you mean?” Yunho sit on the sofa that facing the balcony areas while keep watching at Jaejoong from there. Jaejoong saw the man look at him. He smiled and then wave at him.
“You see….i think you already know about his mother Illness. She’s really sick right now and she keep calling Jaejoong’s name.”
“So???” Yunho gritted his teeth. He knows very well what the man want……There’s no way he going to allowed that to happened….But while he look at Jaejoong…..His heart suddenly soften.
“If you…I mean…can you allowed Jaejoong visited his mother tomorrow? Please Mr. Jung…..Have a pity with her….She just want to spend a little more time with her son.”
“…………” Like what he expected. Yunho’s silent for second. His hand grips the phone tightly. Part of him want to shouted ‘No’ to the man at that moment but when he saw Jaejoong face…...He just can’t do it.
“Mr. Jung?” Mr. Oh asked curiously since the man on other line suddenly silent without words. The man silence scared him.
“I’ll think about it.” Yunho answered firmly. He wants to think about it carefully before giving his answer because he know whatever his answer is, it will effecting Jaejoong later.
“In case if you allow him to go, we’re stay at Hilton Hotel” After the man words, Yunho quickly ended the phone call. He sighed and then palmed his face….This going to be hard.
“Yun? What’s wrong? You’ve been spacing out…” The soft touched on his shoulder startled him. He quickly looks at the person that sits beside him. Jaejoong was looking at him with worry expression on his face. These make him felt guilty. He didn’t mean to make Jaejoong feel that way.
“It’s nothing Jae…..” Yunho reach Jaejoong’s face and then caresses it softly. He decides to tell Jaejoong about the call later…since he still don’t have an answer for the request.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah…I’m hungry…Let’s go grab something to eat” Yunho smiles and then nodded. He intertwined their hand together and then dragged Jaejoong with him walk out from the bedroom to the kitchen.

“What did he say?” Mrs. Kim asked immediately after her husband put the phone down. Mr. Oh look at her and then sigh.
“He said he’ll think about it….” He shrugged his shoulder and then leans on the sofa.
“Aish! That’s not the answer that I expected. That man’s really heartless. This is the reason why I against your idea to ‘use’ him rather using Mr. Baek son you know. We should just call Joongie than him.” Mrs. Kim grumbled before stand up and then walks to the window eyeing the beautiful city view night skies. Her conversation with her husband few days ago came to her mind. If they choose to ‘use’ Yunho, they’ll be doomed for sure! That man’s clever and it’s really hard to manipulate him.
“Maybe you’re right. Should I call him now?” Mr. Oh voice cuts her thought.
“Aish….That heartless bastard will be suspicious if we do so. We call him tomorrow.” Mrs. Kim sigh. She slowly walks to the bed and lay there while staring at the white ceiling.

They were having breakfast at the garden that time. Mr. Jung was gone playing golf with his friend since early morning. Jaejoong was eyeing Yunho silently. Yunho was acting weirdly. He already spilled two cups of coffee. He even didn’t touch his breakfast at all that he claimed really important for him to start his day.
“Yun, is there something bothering you? You’re not like your usual self today. I know you’re worried about something.” Jaejoong finally speak after saw the misery on his face. He can’t take it anymore seeing him suffering silently like that.
“Uh? I…….” Yunho hesitate for second but then he sighed. He knows he can’t escape from Jaejoong eyes easily since he knows him very well now.
“Tell me…..i can share it with you.” Jaejoong assure him while reaching his hand on the table. He intertwined their hand as encourage him to speak. Jaejoong wait patiently. He knows Yunho need time to talk about it. When he’s about to retreat his hand back, Yunho suddenly hold it tightly. Jaejoong’s frowning and quickly look at him
“Hm….Mr. Oh called last night.” Yunho finally speak after a long silent.
“Aah….what did he say?” Jaejoong was calm when he heard Yunho finally speak.
“Your mother wants to see you….” Yunho look at him as waiting for his reaction. Jaejoong just smiled and then nodded.
“Ok…what do you think about it? Should I go?” Jaejoong asked calmly. He really wants to know what Yunho think about this matter. Even though he can see uncertainty in Yunho eyes and yet he still want to hear answer from him.
“Do you want to go?” Yunho asked him back while staring at his eyes.
“Do you want me to go?” Jaejoong tighten his intertwined hand with Yunho as he asks the question. Yunho was silent for moment while looking at their link hands. He suddenly remembers something…
“I…..i trust you….I’ll let you decide it.” Yunho finally say the words with smile on his face. Jaejoong’s taken aback with Yunho answer. He smiles widely and then flung his self to the man arms. Yunho answer really makes him happy. Yunho trust….That’s all what he need...
“Thank you Yun…Thank you for trusting me. You don’t want to go meet her with me?” Jaejoong whispered the words while still hugging him.
“I wish I can….But I have special meeting with our company special guest from China today. Even though dad will be there too, it will be not nice if I leave him to handle it alone.” Yunho sighed frustrated. It’s true that at first he decides to follow his Jaejoong, but then he remember their conversation in the hospital lake garden before. He wants to prove to Jaejoong that he can trust him.
“I understand. I’ll be ok. Don’t worry.” Jaejoong parted from the hug and smile widely at him before run to his seat back. Yunho chuckled at him.
“I’m not going to lie…I’m still worried.” Yunho admitted it bluntly. Yes. Jaejoong safety is still his priority plus the incident really opened his eyes now. Danger’s everywhere…..Even if she was Jaejoong’s mother, but it still concerns him…Add on that….He don’t trust that women!
“Silly Yun….Then how about I’ll bring someone with me?” Jaejoong say excitedly. Beside, at this moment he doesn’t want to be alone with his mother and his so called stepfather. He still felt awkward around them.
“Ah….That will be nice.” Yunho agree immediately. Well…That suggestion successfully eases his worries inside. Jaejoong laughed when he saw Yunho relieved face. It’s kind of funny to see Yunho sour face suddenly change to the like 5 years old kid who just got his first candy. He finally can see Yunho first smile that day.
“It’s settled then. See Yun, isn’t it easy if you just talk to me? You don’t have to grumble like old man all day long you know.” Jaejoong teased him while sip his orange juice.
“You sure know how to tease now.” Yunho chuckles with his Jae. Jaejoong’s definitely right…If only he just came out and talked to him, he might be not being teased like that…But still he felt really happy because this proved that Jaejoong’s finally open to him….He want this kind of Jaejoong beside him to color his dull life.
“I’m learning it from you.” Jaejoong stick his tongue out childishly and then laughed again. Yunho laughed along with him while shake his head few time.
“But…..who are you going to bring with you?” Yunho asked curiously after their laughter dies. Jaejoong smirked and then winked at him…This make Yunho frowned at him.
“Yah!! It’s your fault! I’m waiting for you for almost 20 minutes damn it! My leg’s shaky now.” The loud voices suddenly come towards them. Jaejoong and Yunho quickly turn their face to the source of voice coming from.
“Yah! It’s just 20 minutes Su…20 minutes… geez it’s not too long!” Yoochun groaned can be heard closely.
“I don’t care…it’s still too long for me.” Finally Junsu show up in the entrance garden door with his pissed face.
“Yah! You make me wait 30 minutes before but I never complaint!” Yoochun protest with hissed but seemed like Junsu ignored him. Junsu walk straight to the table where their hyung sit and sit across the two after say good morning politely to his two hyung. Yoochun following behind and take a sit beside pissed Junsu.
“Them.” Jaejoong point the two to Yunho with sly smile on his face.
“Uh???” Yunho dumbfounded for second. Seemed likes Jaejoong is plotting something that he didn’t know.
“What?” The two asked the same word at the same time. Junsu and Yoochun look at Jaejoong and then Yunho with confused face.
“Are you sure?” Yunho ask again. Jaejoong just nodded and then smile at his two friends that looking at him confusedly.
“Since you two free today…Mind accompanying me?” Jaejoong look at his two friends waiting for their answer. The two look at each other before look at him again.
“Go where?” Yoochun asked curiously. As far as he know, Jaejoong invited them to his house today for doing revision study since the exam will be coming up closely...Jaejoong shook his head as indicated ‘no’.
“Shopping?” Junsu ask excitedly. He like when Jaejoong around him while shopping since the man always give a good tips what a nice to wear to him not like Yoochun who always teased him.
“Nope…We’ll going to visiting someone today.” Jaejoong finally reveal his invitation to them. The two mouthed ‘o’ together.
“Cool….I’m on it.” Yoochun smiles and then nodded. Oh well since his friend needs him, studying can wait and do it later……..
“Me too.” Junsu answered eagerly. Well for Junsu, as long as there were Jaejoong and Yoochun he will be there too…
“You still owe me for making me waiting too long you know.” Junsu suddenly said that to Yoochun.
“What??? Yah!!” Yoochun arched his eyebrows…And just like that the bickering and shouting between the two starts again. Yunho and Jaejoong looking at them silently with amused face since it’s not the first time the two acting that way…But still it’s really entertaining for them to watch.
“Oh my…Hope you mother will be ok with these two..” Yunho whispered on Jaejoong ears. Jaejoong burst into laughter and then look at his two best friends that were still to busy bickering with each other again.

“He’s coming honey! He’s coming!” Mrs. Kim’s grinning widely. She just received a called from Jung’s butler that telling them Jaejoong will come today.
“Really? Thank God! When will Mrs. Baek and her son’s coming then?” Mr. Oh let go a relieved sigh. They thought Yunho wouldn’t be giving his permission to Jaejoong. It’s seemed like they were wrong.
“They’re on the way….So we don’t have much time. I’ll be handling her here while you waiting for Joongie on the lobby. Call me when he’s already here so I can prepare everything that we plan before.”
“Sure thing….” Mr. Oh nodded while quickly walk to the door. When he opened the door Mrs. Baek was already standing there and looking startled for moment.
“Er…Oh..hello …Mrs. Baek…you already here.” Mr. Oh definitely shocked too but he controls it very well. He smiles and then shakes the women hand.
“What a coincidence. I just about to knock the door but you already open it.” Mrs. Baek laughed a little.
“Ah you’re here….My husband need to pick my son at the hospital now. I forgot to tell you, my son have medical checkup today but his father forgot to bring his medical files that’s why he’s here now. It won’t take a long times. I hope you don’t mind for waiting?” Mrs. Kim comes to the door as welcoming Mrs. Baek to their room. She secretly winked to her husband as to signal him to get going now.
“Oh no..no…It’s ok..we can spend time with chatting. Beside Seung Ho will be late too…Go on…He must be waiting for you right now.” Mrs. Baek looks at Mr. Oh with concern face. Mr. Oh nodded and quickly excuse himself.

“What should we bring for her? We can’t go with empty hand.” Jaejoong sighed. He really felt depressed and doesn’t know what to do right now. This is going to be his first time to visit….her…..His mother. Even until now, he still not sure if he’s ready to call that woman ‘Umma’ again.
“Fruits?” Yoochun gave his suggestion and arched his eyebrow to his best friend. Jaejoong tapped his chin while thinking about that idea.
“Flowers?” Junsu interrupt while his eyes never leaving his phone screen. He was to absurd playing the game.
“Fruits seemed a good idea. Let’s stop by at the nearest supermarket here.” After a long thinking, Jaejoong’s finally decide to go with fruits. He then asked the driver to bring them to the nearest supermarket there. Instead, the driver brings them to the hyper shopping supermall that located 20 minute from the exact place that they want to go.
After arriving they quickly find the shop that they want to go. As usual, four bodyguards are following him behind. Jaejoong asked them to at least walk 10 feet away from them since he don’t want to attract any attention. Beside the caps is already enough to cover people attention from him.
Junsu was super excited and energetic running around the hall. Jaejoong and Yoochun just laughed at him.
“Yah Su…Don’t run too fast you might fall.” Yoochun teased him after saw Junsu almost tripped on the floor.
“Yah! I’m not a kid idiot!” Junsu hissed but then quickly back to his usual self again.
“Hahaha….wait for me..” Yoochun suddenly run following Junsu leaving Jaejoong behind. Since Jaejoong still in recovery process, he can’t move too much so he decides to just walk and watching the two from behind. However he still asked 2 of his bodyguards to follow his two friends. He also concern about his friend safety too.
The place was too crowded with peoples since its weekend. Besides there are sports cars exhibition holding in the center of the shopping supermall. Jaejoong is about to fix his uncomfortable caps when he suddenly bumps with someone. He didn’t realize that person dropped something on the floor. He was too busy trying to avoid people that keep walking and passing around him…. until he realizes he was step on something. He quickly looks on his feet and then gasped.
“Ahh….I…I’m sorry.” Jaejoong bowed few times to the man in front of him. He felt really sorry for the thing that he had done.
“It’s ok.” The man sighed while looking at his damage bouquet flowers on the floor.
“Oh no… I’ve ruined the flowers….Let me buy the new one sir…” Jaejoong look around the supermall. He smiles reliefly when he spotted florist shop just around the corner.
“Wait here sir…Give me 15 minutes.” Jaejoong bowed and then walk away from the man.
“Eh????..” The man was startled when the young man suddenly walking into to the same florist shop that he just walks out from there moments ago.
Jaejoong look around the florist shop for few minutes until he found the same look of the bouquet flowers that he ruined moments ago.
“Ah! This one looks exactly the same….” He smiles widely while taking the readymade bouquet flower form the display sell rack and then examined it carefully.
“Excuse me…I got it first.” Suddenly someone touched his shoulder from behind. Jaejoong turn to his back looking at the man that approached him. The man pointed to the bouquet flower on his hand.
“Eh? But this one is still here in the display rack when I come in.” Jaejoong asked confusedly. Beside the man is already holding another bouquet of flower on his hand.
“Look lady….I got my eyes on that one first.” The man argues back. Jaejoong snorted. He really don’t like the way the man talk to him….plus…well…He called him ‘lady’ a lady!.. Geez. It’s really pissed him off!! To think about it, it’s really not his fault at all….If the guy really interested with it, why doesn’t he take it in the first hand?
“Lady??? Humph….Then you already late. First come, first serve!” Jaejoong ignored the man and quickly walk to the payment counter. He does the transaction payment and then walk passed the arrogant man.
“What the…..” The man just can groan when Jaejoong passed him. Jaejoong smirked and then quickly walk out from the florist shop.
“Here Sir…” Jaejoong smile widely while handing the bouquet flower to the new owner.
“Hm… thank you then.” The man takes the bouquet flower from his hand and then smile back at him. He look at the flower and then to Jaejoong. He was really impressed with him.
Jaejoong suddenly yelps when he looks at the time. He already spend too much time there until forgot his real intention to be there in there first place.
“I’m sorry again Sir….” Jaejoong bowed for the last time before walk faster to other direction to find Junsu and Yoochun.
“Wait!!!” The man tries to call him but Jaejoong can’t hear it since the crowded and the sound too loud around there. The man just can watch until Jaejoong figure gone and swollen by the sea of crowded people.
“Boss….” His man voice startled him. He looks at the bouquet flower and then smirked.
“I’m ok….” He smiles to his man while shoving the bouquet flower to his man chest. His man was confused for moment but quickly nodded.
“Take care of it.” He walked to the exit with his hand on his pocket while thinking of something…..
‘Oh well………Thank you Kim Jaejoong….We will definitely meet again.’
