First things first. LA was a blast!

So there was an audition call for the West Side Story Revival audition on Broadway. It was to take place in LA. So to get two birds with one stone, we figured we'd go for the audition AND see our King and I friends (Mark, Linette, Julia, and Tony). We drove. It was long... about 7 hours long. But it's all good because it was in MY car, and it held out just fine :) And the gas wasn't too bad!

We arrive at Mark's place and I'm beat. It wasn't too long before I just called it a night because the male audition call was at 9am and we had an hour drive -.- lame. Mark and I both go to the male call and do our thing. We do an audition dance to "Cool" which I expected..and it was the originally choreography, which I expected also. Dance went fine and they made a cut. Mark and I were done :( but it's all good because it was apparent they were holding a lot of the Seattle cast and just moving them to Broadway. They were just looking for a few fills-ins..like a shark guy (not me) and a jet girl. Honestly though, I knew it was a LONG shot. It's for friggin' BROADWAY. Had I landed the job.. THAT would of been crazy..haha. Still had fun though :) and I nailed the routine..so It's not like what they are doing is out of my league.

Afterward I couldn't help but get a bit excited because we had plans for Disneyland the next day :D <3 Disneyland with your close friends is always just a blast! So we stayed the night at Linette's Dads place which was super nice. That night I got a call from a good old friend Brian. He saw my myspace bulletin or something about being in LA and going to Disneyland, and let us know that he was currently working at the park and could get us in for free! We had already had 3 free tickets set up.. but with this we could invite an extra friend! We were very thankful. Brian was too nice! It was also fun to hear about his job their (he was working the Indiana Ride) and all the little "behind the scenes" easter eggs. We got through a lot of rides and just made the best of a 13hour Disneyland day. Crazy I know.. it hurt to walk!! We got to crash very briefly at Brian's place before we headed out early in the morning back to Sacramento. Another long drive..

Here is just a dorky pic of me at City Walk by Universal Studios. Mark, Linette and I went by there while waiting for Amanda in her audition. (she got cut as well :( sadly)

BUT. let me tell you.. at some point on the I-5 the road slightly slants downhill..and no one is around..you will catch yourself going really fast..and not know it. I glanced down and I was going 95mph!..did I slow down?.....no.. I figured I was only 5mph from giving my car it's very first 3 digit speed!! So I did it!

Thats the FIRST TIME that "1" in the "100" has EVER appeared! haha! I'm glad I got to do it once! Don't worry.. I was safe! No one else was on the road.

So now I'm back home!

I have been working pretty often at the serving job (Tahoe Joe's) and visiting a party here and there. I figure it's great to see some of these local friends before I part ways once again for another show. So it's been fun!

ALSO! I picked up a tumbling class! Again! kinda...I was taking this tumbling class like 3-4 years ago. I wanted to gain some tumble passes for my resume and fitness. Well last time I had to end it short because of a show...but now I'm Back! I have already had 3 classes and It's been a blast! It's at POZARS gymnastics. They have a teen/adult class every Tues/Thurs at 7:30. I go to the Thursday Class.. but while I'm in South Pacific I'm going to continue and take the Tuesday Class. If anyone wants to join me it's a blast! Its about $15 or so per class and there is a $40 insurance sign-up thingy fee...but its good for a year. WORTH IT. I'm already doing Back hand-springs and back-tucks on the mats with no spot!

So thats about my life for the rest of this month!
I'll post new changes etc etc ETC!
Miss you King and I!

ps. its a long entry I know
and I don't type well...or spell
or care! :D
