one step forward, two steps back?
What a roller coaster this past week has been. I can't decide whether it's been more bad or more good.
I did attend the quarterly Apple meeting yesterday and after meeting all the staff, I've come to the conclusion that I'm really going to have a lot of fun working there. Everybody's personalities are right on par with mine, they're smart-asses, always up for a good laugh, clever, sarcastic... It will be a fun job to hold onto.
As far as the difficulties between... well, some people can figure it out... I only hope we can outgrow them. It would be a shame [that's a bit of an understatement] things crashed and burned because of this little slump.
But despite everything bad that has pockmarked this week, earlier today, I was feeling so.. golden. I felt the best that I have in a long time. I don't know where it came from, but I liked it.
Oh yeah... I'm really deeply in love with Star Ocean. It's.. so good. I'll be sad when I finish it, but that won't be for a long time as I've quite a long way to go. I'm not yet done with the first disc, maybe half way through it, but I doubt that.
