The Hang Up

Ah yes, the lovely hang up. I never understood that. For one, half of the time you never really know that you've been hung up on until you finally realize that you're talking to nobody. The dramatic effect is just gone by then. Also, you're not able to see the other person's rage when they slam the phone down or shut, so why do it? Just to make the person feel like shit or to express anger? Hmm...food for thought.
