day 2 was pretty short which is a good thing because I wan't to talk about other stuff.
Firstly my flist only goes back to the 23rd of july. I left home on the 19th which means that i've missed FOUR WHOLE DAYS of posts. *goes mental* That is so unbelievably annoying. gah.
Secondly, while reading my f list I saw that kaya's big sister is nomico. I have no interest in kaya what so ever, haven't listened to his music or anything but nomico sounded familiar. then i realised that was because she sang this song:

I mostly like the video but the song is pretty awesome as well. Ahhh, I so want to be part of their family.
Thirdly, while reading through the flist I noticed that the epilogue of a fic id been reading had been posted. I clicked on it only to find out that
pandesal_luv had deleted her journal. great. now i dont get to find out how it ends T_T
So, with that over.
I woke up pretty late today (jet lag) so we didn't get to do too much. Christy's mum took us to dim sum at this place:
It is HUGE, people have weddings and birthdays there. Christy took me to see the big fake cake they have for weddings in the corner. It even has a slice already cut out so you can fake cut into it. Stupidly, they iced around the cut. Wish that I'd taken a picture. Anyways, after this we went shopping for a bit and everything was uber expensive but I bought two shirts (120 each) because I felt bad for not getting anything. These are them:
I quite like them but they aren't very flattering. I should have bought the longer ones but I'd paid by the time I noticed them. We kept walking around and found a cheaper shop where I got this:
It was only 50 dollars and I think christy noticed that I liked the cheap stuff so she took me across the bridge to the cheaper side of the mall. When we got outside it looked like this:
You can't tell in the photo but it is pouring. We were under a walkway but for some reason it still managed to get us. I was in flip flops and the water was so deep that it sloshes over your feet. I almost fell over so many times. It would have been very very embarrassing.
We got inside and I noticed that everything was cheaper :) only down side is that you can't try things on before you buy them. I got myself this stuff:
These two shirts cost 15 hkd each (ok, for hkd to pounds just divide by 10. that means these shirts cost me £1.50). They are butt ugly but I loved how the english was blatantly copied from food packets on one and I'm not sure what on the other...Also, they are massively different sizes.
Not sure how I managed to overlook that when I bought them...
I got these shoes for 56 hkd
And this stuff for about 15 each. I can only really use the blue clip because I cut my hair so the bobble is useless and I don't have my ears pierced so the earrings are useless. Might give them to my little sister. I also got a purse, watch and phone charm which I can't find at the moment but I'll hopefully have them by tomorrow so I'll show you them then.
We got back onto the shuttle bus and it was still chucking. Christy's mum rang while we were in it to say that we should stay in the mall because it was too dangerous. This is a picture from my side of the bus:
I wish i'd been sitting on the other one because there was at least 12 inches on that side. Traffic cones were floating away and everything XD
So that was my second day in hong kong :)
Felt far more accomplished because I'd spent money XD
