finally everyone sees the truth!
I have bitched about my evil headmistress before and this is another one. When she first came I decided that I didn't like her. everyone apart from one other girl absolutely adored her. Finally they have acknowledged that I am right and the woman is a hypocritical cow. Today in assembly she stood up at the end and told a group of girls off for being a few mins late to assembly. it wasn't their fault as they were still in registration. she had a go at them and said they had 'missed a lovely treat' which was the school string quartet playing. it was brilliant but entirely her fault that they missed it. when I said 'group of girls' I didn't mean 5 or 6, I meant 50-60 it was two whole fecking year groups. she knows so little about this school that she didn't realise that 20% of the people were missing?! WTF! what REALLY annoys me is that we were once kept waiting, STANDING for 15 mins while she faffed around. the inconsiderate cow.
as if that wasn't irritating enough she started going on about the school prospectus and how she wanted everyone to 'just be natural' because they didn't want 'it to be contrived' this is the most contrived piece of marketing spin created by someone other than peter mandleson. they have hand picked about 50 odd girls to be in it. I was chatting about it to some of the others and we are thinking of just photobombing the whole thing. probably will end up being too lazy though. anyhow, a friend and I were late for a lesson and when we went in our teacher goes 'I thought you might have been kept back' (at the end of chapel all the girls who were going to be in it were told to stay behind) to her (shes tall and blonde). sarcastically I went 'no, we aren't beautiful enough' to which the teacher replied 'they weren't chosen on that so don't worry' which was nice of her. however, this contradicts the whole 'they were just pulled out of a hat' speech some other teachers gave. like hell they were. is it a coincidence that there isn't a single fat or spotty girl on the list? 80% of our year are Chinese, yet there have been about 10 English girls chosen (from a possible 14) and only 3 Chinese (from 40). so statistics are either bollocks but methinks its more likely that our head is entirely composed of the stuff. I also got a look at the program for the photos and every single tiny detail has been planned out. seriously one of the entries was 'head girl working in her study, a few russel group prospectuses on desk'. im also pretty sure that the heathen head (I like the alliteration) had a hand in it because the word 'chapel' has question marks beside it. blargh, I just tried to find a picture of it, its a really nice building, but they've taken the 360 degree tour thing off the website so you shall have to do with this one from flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/andrewdyer/218683747/ the windows are really nice, if I have time i'll get some pictures.
what annoys me even more is that all this is completely unnecessary. the last one looked lovely and was so fun to do. they honestly just sent a photographer around and he took pictures of everyone enjoying themselves.
and another thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiko_no_Tatsujin_(iPhone_OS) WHY ONLY JAPAN?!?!?!? I love this game. i'm going to need to get one of those ds cartridges with millions of games on them when i go out to hk
and more: i always say 'fecking' or 'hell' because of the filter thing. i messed up at one point so now my own journal is filtered and i have to check that stuff has gone up on my phone T_T
