Parking with YEG

Apr 15, 2008 20:28

Another drag of a day.  I considered skipping either History or Brit Lit but decided against it because we're getting so close to midterms now.  I guess because summer's practically in my grasp I'm turning into a bit of a lazy bum.

The weather was really spring-y today.  I'm getting used to driving in flip flops.  I had to sped a bit to get to Post because I left a half hour later than I should have.  Ironically, when I parked, it was next to YEG.  Talk about a one in a million chance of getting the spot next to Steve's car.  I walked into the Lounge and started telling him a faux tale of how I almost clipped the car I parked next to and started to describe it.  The bastard took away from my fun by having no reaction.

Marion mentioned that she and Steve were going to be on campus during the Open House on the sunday of April 27th because they volunteered to give tours to the visiting kids.  I'm considering it, but the training meeting is tomorrow and I was planning on getting the last of my field work hours at a Badminton pracitice.  Plus, April 26th is my sister's sweet sixteen, so I don't think i'm really going to be in the mood to get up and conduct tours to terrified little high schools.

It's been a while seen I've seen a good movie or have been to the movies.  Any recommendations? "Forgeting Sarah Marshall" looked amusing, but it's not playing anywhere remotely close nor do I feel like driving to Westbury.

Wow, this week has been dull.  I have pretty much zero to report.
