Dancin' in the street!

What a magnificent weekend! All I can say is double dates are delightful, as well as phone conversations that last 'till 2 in the mornin. Things that aren't delightful? Booty calls. Furthermore, people you are completely over calling to "hang out" even though you haven't talked to them in, oh, I don't know 6 months? And last you did talk to them it was a confrontation after they stood you up for Homecoming. Not like that ever happened, but if it did, defintly not delightful.
Whew, anywho so yesterday I went out to dinner with Lauren and her fam as she is now in Florida and I will miss her so. When we got back to her house we came across her karyoke machine and, for old times sake had to do Sir Mixalot, then of course me and my anal self cleaned her room and went home with a bundle of things! i.e. the best of r.e.m., which is what I am currently listening to so I'm mentioning it alot. It was my birthdayt present. Me and Lauren tend to always wind up giving each other birthday presents months after our actual birthdays. It's more fun that way...you know, getting a present on a random day and having the person say "Happy Birthday". Oh what fun. So anyway...r.e.m., FERNGULLY...which, god I loved that movie, and stil do, A picture of Billy, my four year-old boyfriend, postcards from Paris...which I've decided to mail out to people and pretend I'm in Paris, and brochures for organ donarship...yea, uh thanks? Something for everyone!
So, it's raining. I wake up and it's raining and I say, "eh, that sucks" and then I think "nooo, fun!". So I crank up the tunes go outside and dance in the rain. I eventually decided to just "fuck it" and jump in the pool with my clothes on. You know who called in the midst of this. He probably thinks I'm crazy now, but that's ok. I hope to see my lovely Diana soon as she is now home. Perhaps, since we will be visiting my sister today I will get to see her and take part in eating crap. Oh what fun! I can't wait to start spending time in Belmar again, once the Tara is feeling better. Sometimes I worry about her...
