Machete Metal
Everything is more difficult nowadays if you are trying to be in band. I finally got another band together but the drummer is leaving for a major university in May and the replacement drummer isn't going to be as good. The new band is really fast paced and brutal we do have some slow churning parts but this band is more in the vein of Cryptopsy, Carcass and At the Gates. I just hope we can have a sturdy line-up because we have plenty of chances to play with signed bands. I know Odessa has been getting alot of shows here lately and some of the bands that are coming in the next couple of months are Mortal Treason, Inked in Blood, Anam Cara, Foreknown, Vehemence and yes even Behemoth. The promoters here have been doing good so the town finally got its own venue downtown so I think if we get this band going well we will be able to play with some really good bands. That is all pretty much here other than that I am still stuck on that new Mars Volta and the new Alove For Enemies. Stuff is badness. Btw, the new name of the band is taken from Revelation 1:5 it is called First Born From the Dead. Long but metal.
