(no subject)
So on August 15th, I went to see Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Blink 182. I nearly died. As many of you know, I've been trying to see Fall Out Boy since high school and things have always fallen through. Perkins had an extra ticket for a while, but I figured someone who was super into Blink would be a better choice. It got closer and no one else had the ticket, so Gorz let me know and I got the ticket! $25 lawn seats at Tweeter (First Midwest? Whatever.) was totally worth it. It was a fantastic time, seriously.
There was some opening act, I don't remember their name, but they were pretty good. I was standing in line (mob, really) to get a t-shirt. I got it and returned just in time for Panic!. They were CD quality and better, seriously. I'd like to see them in a smaller venue with them as headliners.
When Fall Out Boy came on, it was seriously surreal. They were amazing live and it was just...fantastic. Blink 182 was also fantasically amazing. For the encore for them, Travis was on a moving platform that went way up in the air and moved around the stage. It was sweet. :)
What else is going on...still looking for a job with benefits and decent pay. That's proving to be difficult. Luckily, I'm working at Party City until I find it, so I do have some income to pay for my car payments and my new laptop. Forgot about that, haha. :) Finally, a new laptop. Dell Studio 1555. I'll be getting an upgrade to Windows 7 for free in October. Cannot wait, seriously. Vista isn't so great.
I think that's about it for now. I'm going to try not to wait so long to update this. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot, but...oops?
