Thanksgiving Break FTW
So Thanksgiving break was one of the best times I've had in a while. I drove home on Wednesday morning and got all my stuff in the house by about 2:30, I think. I hung out, went online, and relaxed until my parents came home. They were happy to see me. I went shopping with my mom and we chatted and stuff. Good times. When I came home, I went to Perkins' house and hung out with Gorz, Rudy, Nicole, Nicole's friend, E, Timmy B, ... I think that's it? Were there other people there? Whatever, regardless, I had a blast. I got a Slurpee, so I was stoked.
Thursday was Thanksgiving. It wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be, minus the fact that my one uncle asked if I had any boyfriends. I was like, "No, I don't have time to deal with stupid boys." And he goes, "Well, find someone not stupid." "...why don't you try to do that in Rockford?" I don't even want to date anyone. Gag. My grandma was in the house for ten or fifteen minutes before she said hi to me because she didn't know who I was because of my black hair. I thought it was hilarious.
Friday, me and my mom went shopping all day, almost literally. We had a great time! A new Guitar Hero for the DS is in the mail for me. Then, me and my dad watched Dexter for a while before I crashed. I was exhausted.
Saturday, me and my mom went shopping a bit more, then we went out to eat with my dad. Afterward, a bunch of us went to the nickel arcade. It was a GREAT time. We went to Denny's after that and had the best time ever. Taking Back Sunday was on a menu, so I was like, "Dude, I want it." Nicole put it in her shirt and pants and we giggled about it. E came late and we giggled about it to him. He goes, "...you want one of the menus? I'll take one out to the car for you." So he grabs one, stands up, and just walks out with the menu and puts it in his car. It was really funny.
On Sunday, me and my dad saw Transporter 3, which I really enjoyed. [BRB] It was kind of a lazy day, really. I just hung out with the 'rents and relaxed.
On Monday, I went to White Castle with Gorz before I left for Rockford. We had a good time. :) I got back to Rockford in about an hour and fifteen minutes, I think. It was quick. I went to night class and then went home, had some soup, and relaxed.
Tuesday, I went to school, then worked. There was a singer in the Den and he was pretty good. Matt Hartke, if you wanna look him up.
Today, I have makeup class and then a little break and then I'm going to Chicago with the theatre department to see some play.
I have no more homework. All I have to do is study for my finals. It's a great feeling, really. :)
