how is that so

After a certain conversation with a friend, I can't help but wonder about certain issues. How is it that some people prefer to take life as it is, while some reflect more on life, and some, just can't be bothered.

With everyone inherently connected to one and other, how we choose to live will have impacts on others, whether we like it or not.

Should individuality be priced above all else? Or should we watch ourselves, at least for a bit, for others and perhaps also for our own good?

As much as Meredith from Grey's Anatomy had mentioned about boundaries fencing us in, I would like to believe otherwise. Like that which Jodi Picolt has written, fences not only keep things out, they keep what is precious in.

Indeed.
