a war on reality
okay so i've just about gone insane lately from doing nothing and going nowhere but work.. what's wrong with me?! i can't even make myself go out as i am always too tired to even attempt talking and having fun with people. also i'm not really a fan of pubs.. what's the point of going somewhere and not even being able to talk as the shit music is too loud & all the lairy people are acting like idiots?
i have also spent a ridiculous amount of money lately so i'm avoiding going out anywhere. on sunday me and my mum went to london for mothers day, and went shopping which was really nice but but i spent about £150 on clothes, make-up, sunglasses and a cute plate/cup. then we met up with my aunt, gran and cousin in this posh restaurant called the wolseley on piccadilly circus. i hated it even before i stepped inside and when i did, i just couldn't have felt more uncomfortable! the whole menu was filled with meat.. i mean seriously there was 1 vegetarian option so i just had some green tea. then my cousin sarah saw that richard and judy were sitting at a table, which was quality! as i was walking down the stairs to the toilet, judy was just coming up and i smiled at her for some reason haha. sarah was pissed off the whole time, my aunt was pissed off, my gran was tired, alice didn't show up, i hated the place and my mum was just upset by the tense situation but it was alright. we left after a while and got a train back to shitty cambridge.
i don't remember this week at all really, i rang up em on monday and we had a good chat and that was about it really.. oh and lovely jess got me a leeds ticket (another £150 eek) after much stress and not being able to get onto any sites for ages! so many many thanks to her! it is gonna be fun this year, hopefully even more people than last yr!
i couldn't go out friday as i had no money on me and good thing i didn't because phoebe was sick about 7 times and my poor baby's been all sick again today. my mum looked after her though, and i went out to see em before she left for leeds again. i had a really nice day & i hella miss that girl, she's the best. we got trapped by this scary drunken hobo outside as seen on tv who was coming onto us which wasn't too nice. we ran away to the other jewellry stall and i bought some 22mm plugs (finally! my mums gonna kill me!) and em bought some 20mm ones after much deliberating and chatting with man at stall. then we headed for some more shopping and i managed to spend about 40 quid arghh! we went to starbucks and sat and talked there for ages, and saw tom for a bit but he was supervising so couldn't really stop to chat. we went around some more shops, em had to go home and pack so we said our byes and i came home. spoke to my mum and paul for a bit and then fell asleep! then i woke up and watched shipwrecked haha. so that was pretty much my day.
caitlin is back next week!! i think we are all meeting up on saturday but i'm gonna be working (overtime, as i need to pay off my many expenses) so i'll have to see her in the afternoon. and em's coming back on the 5th wooo! and then becca's back on the 15th so i am very happy! i miss my lovely friends and it's going to be really nice getting to spend time with them again.
