weekend summary

Yeah well here's the summary of my oh-so-fun weekend.

FRIDAY: Woke up, went to school, totally dressed Kings-Spirit-ly, and chilled with all the posse that usually hang out before school starts. Then I went through my uber boring schedule and skipped the pep rally. I was way too cool. Also I had a headache. So instead I went to the cafeteria and hung out with Carrington and Josh (UGH) Williams. Josh of course had to tell us all his cool stories about how he stole some Jack Daniels from some guy and then drank it all and fucked a fat chick. Man, he's a hardass. Bonnie and Clyde, eat your hearts out. So then after all of his wonderful anecdotes I tracked down Andrea and Paco and we went to frisbee. We saw Joel's dad on the way to Subway and he and Joel shared some words. Then Joel dropped us girls off and I just hung out at home and got online like a dork. I am so cool.

SATURDAY: Woke up around 9, ate breakfast and got in the shower. I had to let my hair mostly air-dry because I wanted it to be curly, and if I blew it dry it would be straight. So that took a good 3 or 4 hours, then I blew it dry the rest of the way so my curls were still intact, and touched it up with a curling iron. Then on went the makeup and the dress and I was picture perfect. I got all my essentials gathered up and shoved them in a teeny tiny purse (okay so EVERY purse is teeny tiny compared to my everyday TOTE BAG). Then of course, my parents being themselves, I had to stand like 3489539820 different ways in about 2032490943 different places so that they could take a zillion pictures of me. They only stopped because Joel showed up and we beat it out of there before the cameras stole our souls. Then it was off to dinner with Krishna at CourseView. Their buffalo chicken is so freaking good, oh man. So then we finished eating and tried our darndest to find this effing place. The school-given directions just took us around in a circle because one of the turns that said LEFT was supposed to be a RIGHT.... so by that time we were low on gas so we stopped and Sunoco and THANK GOD we ran into some other lost people. They got directions from some Pakistani in the gas station and we followed them up there. We arrived kind of late, but since everyone else got lost too, we got a good parking spot. So we danced till our feet hurt and then decided to leave because it was kind of gay and we had no clue how to get home, or how long it would take. Good thing I was in the car though, or else Joel would have ended up sleeping in the car and waiting till morning to find a way home. My keen sense of direction and my awesome navigation skills led us straight home, with no trouble at all. Except one wrong turn we made on Ronald Reagan highway. But that is beside the point. A good time was had. I fell asleep as soon as I got home.

SUNDAY (which is today): I woke up around nine-thirty-ish because my dad was making pancakes and omelettes and I could smell 'em. I ate some hearty breakfast and then decided that I wanted to rearrange my room. I did, and it took me forever, but it looks sweet. Then my dad wanted to take me out driving, so we drove out towards Morrow, and I tried to find my way to Joel's mom's house... but I totally couldn't. That woman lives out in the boonies. So then we turned around because if we didn't get out of there ASAP we'd forget which way we came, and then we'd get lost, and then our family would have to file a missing persons report, and we'd probably die of starvation, and none of that really sounded like any fun. So now I'm here, and I'm about to go do some homework so I don't get even WORSE grades. Have a good one.

xo

PS: What is the deal with this weather? It feels like November! What is that about?
