(no subject)
so, auditions were this morning. My scales were all perfect. "Shenendoah" was good...could've been better, but I had phlegm like whoa, so it was all right. "The Silver Swan" was perfect until the end. OMG..how did I screw up the fucking silver swan?? I know that song inside and out..I don't know what the hell happened. It was at the end during the "thus sang her first and last and sang no more," and I kinda just went, "thus sang her first *pause* Sorry!! *pause* sang no more..." Soooo bad. Mr. Brown wasn't one of my judges, either..so that makes it doubly bad. Ughhhh..I have a feeling I didn't make it, but I'll see tomorrow. Yuck. *crosses fingers*
So, I really would love to be in the city right now because tomorrow is Colin's last day in Rent..and I can't go tomorrow. I'd totally go if my mother would let me. I reaaallly want to go. I also want to see JoKo!Roger again really badly. And I haven't seen Robin de Jesus yet, and I lurrrve him, so I want to see him. I'm like 99% sure that I wont be going today..but if things change, I'll surely post about it.
Yeah, so I'm going to go pick up my choir gown soon for the performance tomorrow night. I seriously hope Chambers doesn't sing "White Christmas," because I definitely don't know a few little parts of it and I don't want us to sound bad because of me. We should just sing "Jingle Bells," "Je le Vous Dirail!" and "Barber of Seville Overture." 3 songs should be enough. Maybe I can try to convince Brown to do things my way. haha.
