(no subject)
Just got home from EHS Idol auditions. Only 12 people showed up to try out!! So disappointing. Oh well, I think all of us got in, because from what everyone was saying, everyone did well. They had the auditions in the auditorium and I have no idea who the judges were. I decided to sing "Nowhere to Run," because I know it really well, and I figured I could do it without screwing it up even if I was nervous. During everyone's audition, the rest of us stayed outside in the hall. Then Mike Val was #10, and everyone wanted to hear him, so they all snuck in, except Abena and I. I was #11, and she was #12, so when I went in everyone just stayed in there.
God, I was so nervous. It would've been so much better if I didn't have to go up on stage, because I hate being up there when it's all bare and dark. So, the lady asked my name and what I was singing, and then she told me to start whenever I wanted to. So, I looked back at everyone in the back of the room and I sang. It could've been a lot better, but I was so nervous. I wasn't as loud as I wanted to be, and I didn't do two of the runs that I usually do, and then at the end, I kind of paused before I finished the song, and it sounded weird. We find out tomorrow in homeroom (which is going to be late tomorrow because we have to take the PSAT in the morning) if we made it.
I hope I made it..even though if I did, I know that when it comes time to perform I'll freak out and get up on stage and shake and screw up, but we'll see. Okay, homework now. Blah. Later! <33
