Karmine's CD Release
Holy Shit..Karmine's CD Release = AMAZING!!
I ended up just leaving from Edison and meeting Justin at Metropark...and guess who we saw? Mr. Harris!! haha. That was so funny.
So, blah, blah, we walk to the club and we're waiting in line (we were first in line. woot. hehehe), and who do we see again? MR. HARRIS!! He was so shocked to see us there. I still can't believe he was there. His wife and him got to go in early, so they must know someone..and I shall find out who tomorrow in Algebra when I ask him all about it. =D
So, back to the show. After they played music for like an hour, Mark Ford (whom I love dearly) came on and introduced Matt, and he came on. He played Divide and Conquer, and Europe..and he was awesome, as usual. Then Cary came on with Marcus, and other back up people, I forgot who they were, though. They did Sachiko Says and another song that I don't know the name of. Matt and Cary both sounded soooo great.
THEN, Karmine came on. She looked so gorgeous. She was wearing this long white shirt/dress with pretty shiny things on it and like black fishnets and these black pants kinda things that went down to her thighs. Her hair was like half up and she had sort of long earrings on. She looked so beautiful. Justin Johnston, Mark Ford, and *I think* Maya Watson Davis (I couldn't really hear Karmine when she said who it was..but it sounded like something Davis..so I just assumed it was her) were singing back up, and Boko was playing keyboard for her...I got all excited when I saw him. =]
She sang the songs pretty much in the order they are on the CD. When she did Out Tonight, everyone was singing along and clapping and dancing and stuff. It was awesome. Justin and I were pretty close to the front and I was screaming through the whole show, so my voice is like...not sounding good at all. haha.
After she was done, they showed the video for It Matters To Me. It was so good. I loved it. There were a lot of really cute Karmine/Cary scenes. The needle part surprised me, though. It was really well done, and I hope she puts it on her site or something, because I want to see it again.
The whole thing was amazing and so fun..and I had such a good time. I can't wait to see her doing her solo stuff live again..she really knows how to put on a show.
Um..ok, off to sleep. I can't wait to see Mr. Harris in school tomorrow so I can embarrass him. >.< hahaha. Goodnight!! <33
