This entry goes back to the one were my mum bought a turkey in hopes of cooking it for thanksgiving. when i said i laugh in her face, many people took that offensive. well let me justify my opinion... starting with when i got home from school about an hour ago after staying after with Shannon, Andie, Amanda, and Alex.

*I get home and i'm hungry. I havn't eaten since sunday cuz of my food poisoning. I boil some water to make a quick lunch of Raman noodles. I go to the bathroom, then check my email, when i smell fire. I run out to my kitchen and the pan was on fire because the rubber on the handle caught fire. I start freaking out cuz no one's home so i go to throw the pan in the sink, full of noodles, when i see the turkey sitting in the sink in cold water... So i'm in a panic and i run to the bathroom sink and throw the buring pan in that then turn the water on... well it turns out that raman noodles don't go down bathroom sinks. Instead it clogs the sink and smells funky. So i take a plunger and start plunging away... finally i fix the sink. all is good... But the question of why the turkey is sitting in a sink filled with cold water is still lingering in my head. I decide I must call my mum to figure this question out. This is what she says, exact words my friends, "WELLLLL, I was reading the back of the turkey and i guess it's supposed to be unthawed and it takes eleven to seventeen days to do this to a fully frozen turkey, but thanksgivings tomorrow so i guess putting it in cold water would help." I reply, "mum... cold water is making it cold..." Now we have a frozen turkey, yet my mum decides she will cook it no matter what. I was looking forward to turkey this year too.. aw well. :/ xoxo
