Kazuya felt pretty guilty the days after the cat incident. He felt it was somehow his fault that he had caused it to get this bad. Kaz had been so focused on Shige that he let another enemy get too close. One he had made a huge error in by overlooking his potential to be dangerous. Ichiro had actually threw a cat off a school roof to get to him. The sad truth was that it did. Ichiro had been the first person the EVER get Kazuya. It ashamed him, and for days it seemed like his self esteem would never bounce up again. If Toriyama could do this amount of damage imagine what Shige, a sick person with years of experience, could do to him.
As for the cat, which Kazuya later learned was named Cupcake, it had survived the fall luckily. Her unborn litter hadn't though. The strain from her injuries and stress caused an early labor. Most were born dead and the ones born and actually caught a quick glimpse of the outside world lived no longer then about twenty minutes. The mother cat herself had fractured three of her four legs but didn't have an head injuries or such and probably would live without no permanent damage. Kazuya had spent his savings on the cats vet bill telling them he had found the cat outside his apartment building that day. Yosuke did try and pay him back which he was grateful for but Yosuke couldn't care for the kitty at his house since his dad would throw it out again. So until it was healthy enough she stayed with the twins, sleeping on Kazuo's bed. In the mean time they tried to figure out a way to get the cat back home, with Yosuke, once she was a hundred percent again.
With a sigh Kazuya pulled on his PE uniform shorts and stood up. Putting his uniform in his locker he turned to leave the changing room. Once he went outside and stretched a bit eyes scanning the crowd of students already outside. One thing was for sure Ichiro will pay for humiliating him and hurting Yosuke.
