"I was there not too long ago, and I realized it was because I wasn't ready for a relationship. The whole point of dating is to figure out what you do want and what you can live without. I noticed that when it comes to being "ready", the key is to know yourself first. And that takes time, Some people figure it out faster then others. To point out your age is a bit irrelevant, because people fall in love when they're ready to. How exactly can you put a timeline on that? You don't. It's a waste of energy if you ask me. Just go with your heart, and your instincts, you want what you want, and when there is that guy that makes you want to stay around, that's usually when you are ready.

Do not let the fear of hurting others cause you to stay, because your heart is first. It's not being selfish, it's being true to you.

Good luck, my motto now: when in doubt, let them go. That took a few good heartbreaks to come to, and almost getting married, to realize that life is as simple as you make it, so try, make it simple, think of how you felt when you were younger, remember that youthful heart that wanted what she wanted. Your heart grows and matures, but it doesn't change."
