(no subject)
Hello Friends,
I'm still alive but still without internet access. I am at my moms house right now on sloooooooooooooow dial up and it sucks. It's so slow, I had to change my layout back to style system 1 and take out my header, just to get into my LJ.
Good news is, I finally moved into my new appartment and I like it. Bad news, it turns out I can not have DSL there. I called a couple of DSL provider and they all told me it wouldn't be available for my place, so as a last hope I called the main phone company and asked them if they could gimme DSL and they said no, there would be no way cause the phone line in my house is not a standard copper phone line. its glass-something (in german Glassfaser) and you can only have DSL if your phone line is copper! So I guess this means I have to find another way for a fast internet connection or I might have to get used to dial up (NO NO NO!).
Oh and I still have no phone at my house (cause why would I need a normal phone if i can not have DSL? I still have my cell phone.)
OK... I will try to update soon again. Gotta run now. Dial up is not only slow, it's also too damn expansive if you stay online for too long!
