Brief history of your character (100-200 words): :
Bobby Drake first found out he was a mutant during an altercation with a bully while on a date with Judy Harmon. The young mutant froze the bully solid, causing a riot in the small town, complete with torches and pitchforks. He was placed in a jail cell for his own protection, only to be broken out by one Cyclops. Bobby did not wish to go with him, and another altercation broke out. Professor Xavier stopped the fight and spoke to Bobby’s parents about a school he was starting in upstate New York for “gifted youngsters” such as Bobby. The family agreed that he should attend the school, and thus Bobby became the youngest of the original x-men.
During his years at the institute Bobby filled many roles, participating on many x-men teams, as well as teaming up with various other marvel super heroes including Spiderman. He was not always, however, part of these teams and in fact left the x-men at one point, pursuing a college degree in accounting. He has always returned to the x-men in one form or another, however.
During this time Bobby’s powers progressed significantly. The mutant went from being able to freeze things, to covering himself with a layer of flexible ice, to eventually turning himself into organic ice. While being possessed by another mutant-Emma Frost-it was determined that he had the ability to become one of the most powerful mutants on the planet, able to manipulate and turn into all forms of water.
During a particular battle after this even the mutant was shattered in his ice form. He was able to reconstruct himself, but could not return to flesh and blood. This caused a significant change in the mutant’s behavior. He became bitter and angry for his lot in life.
Recently within the mutant world there has been an event which caused many of the mutants of the world to no longer be mutants. There numbers have gone from thousands, possibly millions, to approximately 200. Bobby believes himself to be one of these mutants affected by the event. It is a sad time to be a mutant-or ex-mutant.

Brief synopsis of your character's personality (100-300 words): :
Members of his team have always seen Bobby as immature. He often plays pranks on people and generally tries to enjoy life. He always has a smile on his face, and goes out of his way to assure that those around him are happy. This leads us to his loyalty and bravery. The mutant would do anything for a friend, and this often leads to confrontations with other members of the team.
One problem that seems to manifest in Bobby is his lack of ambition. He does not actively seek to improve his powers (unlike many of the others) and this often contributes to people seeing him as immature. The truth is, however, that the mutant is very insecure in his own abilities and afraid of failing at a task he has set out to accomplish.

Bobby is a 26 (almost 27) year old mutant that has short, dirty-blonde to brown hair which he wears in various forms of controlled disarray. He is tall, with a medium build that is deceptively muscled from years of training. He has no discerning scars or tattoos.

What is the point of your character's canon in which you are introducing your character?: :
Bobby enters the hotel in 2008, shortly after the events in House of M. The mutant population has been significantly reduced, and Bobby himself believes to have lost his powers.

What skills does your character have?: :
Bobby once had the aforementioned mutant ability-to freeze things. He is also, however, very proficient in hand to hand combat, having received a lot of instruction at the Xavier Institute. He also trained with various other superheroes including Hercules.
He is also very much a people person and can pull a killer prank when the need arises. Has an unnatural addiction to Twinkies.
When your character is shown to his/her room, he/she will find ten personal items belonging to them, which the Hotel has supplied. These things can ONLY be things they would typically have in canon. This will be known as his/her initial personal inventory. Please list what these things would be:
