i love new england, so fuck you anyone who wants to live in florida
not living in hull has made me realize how beautiful it really is.
my house in hull is beautiful. its no kenedy house buts its beautiful
its so new englandy and i love it
its hard wood floors, how in summer when every window is open and all the curtain are white and flowing around in the breeze off the water with the sun shining in.
i live for that
to walk around barefoot and sit on my poch in that old weather swing and just watch the flowers blow around and listen to water and the little kids
i love that
and even in winter its beautiful
when i get all bundled up and walk down my big stone stairs knee deep in snow and just lie in the yard with my puppy eating snow like a retarded little kid and just not caring because i'm home
and being able to look in my yard, and see the fresh snow all untouched and perfect, with all those little swirls from the wind
and i love when its so cold it hurts to breath and your toes get numb then i go inside and sit infront of my fireplace and warm up then hide in my bed
florida doesnt have that
then theres fall
which is more beatiful than anything
when the air gets crisp and the leaves start turning
and the beach gets empty and i can walk it alone and not have 800000 tourist around.
and i get sit on my deck out back in the hot tub
and those perfect days when its too warm for a coat but too cold for a tshirt and its not too windy but its enough to make all the crunchy leave blow around
spring isn't special around here though
its just spring like any place else
but new england.
massachusetts.
boston.
hull.
all of it, its beautiful.
its perfect
it has to much history and culture
its the perfect blend of old and new
californias so 'modern and glamorous'
i'd much rather prefer new englandy conservatism anyday
and floridas so flashy and humid
i'd much rather those nights its so cold the windows break
the south is so... southern.
i'll take norther formalitly over souther comfort anyday
its just pefect, i adore where i live so much.
i dont want to leave
ever
i have no desire to get out and see the world
i dont want to live in europe for a year or texas for a summer
vacations of course but i never want to live anywhere else
i want to get old here
and take my kids to the places i used to go
and have them do the same for their kids
its too bad for people that will never be happy with where they are and not realize how beautiful where they're from really is.
