Internship: 2nd + 3rd day
Second day
hmm things are getting better :D on the last few hours on my 1st day, i was assigned to a mentor and i learn a few stuff about the finalising orders in the system. It was all done online using Java, so well, loading the stuff, updating and searching the needed info in the online database takes time. I wonder is this is one of the reason the staffs goes overtime =O So on the second day, i was assigned to be under the same mentor as the previous day, and i was given the task to do the stuff i learn the day before :D eventho i was doing the same thing, i was pretty much having fun doing 'something' a staff would do :D finally, i'm getting the hang of what i'm supposed to do around there. The manager said since i am an intern, i wouldn't be doing the complicated works but i am to observe the surrounding and learn how the workload is done in the department. And of course, i guess i'll learn more things over the time and make them feel that it's a crime paying to mE an allowance of only RM500 per month. "OTL
The staff were cooperative, which is good, but i get the feeling at times i'm being a bother to them "OTL and sometimes i feel invisible at the place i'm sitting. And since i didn't get a laptop (that may be provided by the HR dep), I had to use another employee's PC. And it is troublesome to ask the PC owner to key in the password to log into the PC , and another set of username+pass from the mentor to log in to the online database everytime "orz Several people keep on asking mE when i'm getting my laptop and all i could say i don't know "OTL and i don't even know if i'm even getting one, lol.
Third day
Well basically it's almost the same as the second day, just that a second mentor (basically as in being my superior. the 1st one was to teach mE on the 'how do(s)' for the system workflow) was assigned to give mE the task i need to do. meaning, it is a day with loads of works x_x. I did overtime today till 6.30, the max i can extend my time since I walk back to my hostel. My working hours is probably from 9 am to 5.30pm. on why i don't know, it's because i haven't signed the contract yet. Which also answers why i dunno stuff about getting laptop etc. the person who called mE to inform of my internship was on leave since my day 1 so i guess i need to wait for her. This time, the mentor gave her username and password so lesser trouble xD but ugh, still need the PC Owner to come over everytime to key in the pass "OTL and the mentor also teach mE a bit more stuff on the task i'm doing :D so i'm slowly learning more and more :DDD
The office is freaking cold to the point even with my 2 layer clothes and a jacket is not enough to fully overpower the coldness "OTL i hate air-cons "OTL
