To be fair, Ray's Grudge is probably the best thing to come from MadTV in half a decade.

Yesterday I watched The Grudge with my family. Now, by that I clearly mean that I went downstairs, realized everyone was watching The Grudge, sat down on Adam's legs and read Vampire Knight while laughing at the stupid sounds coming from the TV (horror movies are almost invariably hilarious when you're not actually looking at the television), and ( Read more... )

unscary movies, weird dreams, ted-sensei, just as planned?, pimpin' like mika-chin, vampire knight

Mamo is ridiculously dorky, spastastic, can't dress himself, and cosplayed the lamest character he's voiced to date. ALL SIGNS POINT TO WIN, CLEARLY.

My brother and I sometimes spontaneously act out Ray's Grudge. I'm Ray Charles, apparently.

Yup, and that's Takagi Shun on the far right. Say it with me now: "TACHIBANA-SAAAAAAAAAAN!!!"

Mamo's actually wearing pants, but he's still pretty girly. I mean, he's cosplaying Rikuson, the most girly, gay, whiny, emo, bratty, useless hero ever.

Koutetsu Sangokushi, which is only win because of how much fail it contains. (QUALITY ANIMATION, characters occassionally have the wrong hair colour, and they kill most of the characters and then bring half of them back to life after I've broken down and cried my eyes out. Basically your favourite character has a 90% chance of dying, but don't worry too much, 'cause he then has a 50% chance of it not being permanent. Mine stayed dead. *sadface* Also you will hear Momoshiro, Tezuka, Atobe, and Mizuki, which made me lol SO. MUCH.) I think the only reason I actually watched it (other than the made-of-win cast) was because I wanted to know how the Wikipedia article on it could claim it to be shonen and shonen-ai. (It's not actually shonen-ai, it's just really gay. That sounds contradictory, but just think of Tenipuri and you'll have the right idea.)
