'Kay, I'm not a die-hard Gakuen Heaven fan by any means. I haven't seen the anime, I've never played the games, but I have read some of the manga. I wasn't super impressed or anything, but I liked the characters enough, so meh.
Still, I was completely floored to discover it's been turned into a musical. Seriously, the only way you can make canon gay gayer is to add singing and dancing. YES.
Scrolling through the cast list was fun. "Hey, I recognize him from HanaKimi", "Hey, it's Suzuki Hiroki not that Suzuki Hiroki", all the while keeping an eye out for Taki, who was my favourite character. (He speaks Kansai-ben, if that explains anything.)
