omg someone has anonymously gifted me a paid account and oodles of icon space, who are you? I feel bad I do not know who did it, because I want to thank you! And hug you lots! I've missed my icons so much, ahhh, look at my beautiful Shinkai icon.
Re: the guy who asked me out, I agonized over it but ultimately decided to turn him down. I feel dumb for asking for help, getting a nearly unanimous consensus (someone did tell me to "Tell that kid to GTFO" and "POSSIBLY EVEN KILL HIM."), and then going completely against it, but everyone's imput was actually very helpful! I realized that if I was so resistant to even giving it a shot every single time it was suggested then I should probably go with my gut and keep things as-is.
Although I wasn't sure how to broach the subject so I decided to wait and see if he brought it up first, and he didn't even get close to it, so I think he's concluded that if I'm going out of my way to not mention it than the answer is no. (It sounds like I'm making a lot of assumptions here, but based on his personality it's a pretty safe one.)
Anyway this has nothing to do with anything, but I haven't talked about Starcraft in a bit - my favouritest Protoss and personal hero HongUn has a new team, eSahara! It's a French/international team, so he'll have more opportunities to play in international tournaments, and it's also the team my other favourite player Maka has joined! Quite exciting. The original article on the eS site was in French but when I went back to find it it was in really Babelfishy English, but my own translation of the original French version is here. (The awkward moment when I can't speak French but can read it well enough to translate, apparently? Fuck the police, I will work literal magic if necessary when HongUn is involved!)
