Nine: For some reason the only Adachi Mitsuru series I've read are his oldest and his most recent. It's a good thing I could read the same Adachi story over and over forever, because it looks like he has been writing the same story over and over since the '70s. BUT HE DOES IT SO WELL!
Duklyon: CLAMP School Defenders: ...is my new favourite CLAMP series, omg you guys. YOU GUYS. OMG. Early CLAMP is really the best. ♥

Legend of Basara: I am taking forever to read this (I started in September and I've only read like six volumes) but OMG THIS IS THE KIND OF SHOUJO MANGA I LIKE. EPIC ADVENTURES! And occassional romance, but mostly EPIC ADVENTURES! Like, Homer-style epic. TOO COOL.
Oniisama e...: THIS IS ALSO THE KIND OF SHOUJO MANGA I LIKE. Intrigue, betrayal, and lesbians everywhere! Incredibly dramatic bitchslapping! It is so great to think that this is what modern shoujo manga is built on. |D
Cat Street: ...is what I'm currently reading, and can I just say that I am weirdly warm to the idea of an uneducated heroine? I mean, I'm used to dumb-as-rocks shounen heroes, but I don't think I could name another shoujo heroine who's pretty close to functionally illiterate. It's an interesting change of pace. Also, I LOVE MOMIJI. I love lolitas who are tough as nails under all the frills. MOMIJI WILL CUT YOU, AND GOD HELP YOU IF YOUR BLOOD GETS ON HER PARASOL. Yes.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: ...is every bit as bizarre as the title suggests. I'm only halfway through the second series, but I am so in love. It seems really cliched these days, but it's because Jojo is the series that created the cliches modern-day shounen manga is built on. HOW COOL IS THAT. Anything your favourite shounen manga can do, Jojo can do better. Epic attacks? DIO STOPPED TIME AND DROPPED A STEAMROLLER ON THE HERO. (And he lived!) Ridiculous volume count? 102 VOLUMES AND STILL GOING. Creator's a troll? CREATOR'S A STRANGELY SYMMETRICAL IMMORTAL VAMPIRE WHO AGES BACKWARD.

The part I'm at, they're just going into the final round of the East-West showdown, and I have no idea how they're going to do it.
