Thoughts on Whistle!:
- I am so not keen on Shige right now, his skeeziness came to a head and the fallout was pretty terrible as far as shounen sports manga goes. The shit he pulled on Sho was just Not Cool Bro. In other news I also ship everyone with Seiji.
Seiji is awesome.
Thoughts on Ten:
- It just keeps getting better. I fucking love Akagi, he was in like one chapter in volume 4 and it had more awesomeness than the entire rest of the volume combined. He's like a one-man godmoding trainwreck of undiluted awesome. I can't wait to see him singlehandedly take down the Kansai yakuza - there's a guy there just to beat him, and he's on his last legs so I have a sneaking suspicion that losing to Akagi will actually kill him. *_*
Thoughts on Bakuman:
- I'm 60+ chapters into it and I still only like around three characters - Eiji, Fukuda, and Hiromaru. At least reading it isn't like pulling teeth anymore, like I felt around thirty chapters ago... but I still feel like I'm reading it mostly because Phil said I should. Ah well, can't win 'em all.
