I'm studying for my Asian History exam, which is in about five hours, and I came across this line in my textbook in the section about Jesuits in Japan:
[...] The Jesuits were appalled at the prevalence of sodomy among the military aristocracy and the monks.
IDEK, I just wanted to share that. I can't stop giggling. I mean, I already knew that, but something about the way it's phrased just cracks me up.
Weirdly relevant, it's also an argument against the banning of BL. Buttsex is a part of Japan's rich history! WELL IT IS. *dyingggg*
...Okay I guess I should go back to studying or something.
