But seriously guys, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, WHY SO AWESOME. I remember watching it while crunching on cereal and getting ready in the morning for first grade, thinking how awesome it would be to have my own Power Ranger team. I wanted to grow up to be Jason. Oh man, I remember hoping every episode that they'd introduce a green ranger because YOU GUYS GREEN IS MY FAVOURITE COLOUR COME ON. (I was five, it made plenty of sense at the time.) So yes Tommy was basically my favourite forever. He was quite possibly my first crush. HAHA the more things change the more things stay the same, amirite.
Okay, you know who's awesome? RITA REPULSA IS AWESOME. I cannot get enough of her evil cackling and incompetent underlings and general awesomeness. She's like Kegaleshia times a million, okay.
"Don't leave, you'll miss my coming out party! That's when I DESTROY THE NEAREST PLANET! HUAHAHAHAHAHA!"
RITA REPULSA IS THE BADDEST FEMALE ANGEL GROVE'S EVER SEEN, who's with me.
My god, this 1993 cheesiness is the greatest thing ever and reliving it is amazing. Zach's breakdance-fighting, Kimberly adding excessive "like"s to every sentence, Billy having to take off his glasses before fighting as;kldhg come on, you're getting nostalgic now too, fess up. =D

And so began a lifelong love affair with unnecessary explosions and giant robots from Japan. |D
