AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH YOU GUYS I AM FREAKING OUT. I adored the BECK anime like you can't even believe, it sounds so stupid to say a series has ~a special place in my heart~ but if I was to say that about an anime series IT WOULD BE BECK, AAAAAAHHH THIS IS JUST SO SO SO PERFECT I AM IN HEAVEN~ |D

DIRECTED BY TSUTSUMI YUKIHIKO (20th Century Boys trilogy, Ikebukuro West Gate Park, the PIKA*NCHI films, etc).
Admittedly I am a little =/ =/ =/ about it being A FILM ABOUT A ROCK BAND and THEY DON'T SAY WHO'S WRITING THE MUSIC, but I'll get over it. (The anime had The Pillows and BEAT CRUSADERS so that'll be hard to top, but I won't say it's impossible. Wait, and hope! and all that.) I WOULD ALSO BE INTERESTED TO KNOW WHO'S ON SCRIPTWRITING DUTY, especially since 'manga-based movie about a band' makes me think of Nana which makes me think of Asano Taeko, and it's really unlikely it's her but IF IT IS I WILL DROWN MYSELF IN THE SINK, so... yeah.
So yeah, brb reading the manga. (Somebody might want to IM/e-mail me in a day or two to remind me to go eat something...)
