For those keeping track, last night I gathered up the courage to make it through a couple chapters of Carmilla, after which I closed it, glared, and announced, "You're going back in the freezer!" which it promptly did. (I stared at the ceiling, terrified, until around 5AM, but ended up dreaming about Air Gear, so I guess it's all good? IDEK
