This is gonna be a long post
Finally, a cause worthy of me blogging! Dad bought a freaking underwater scooter.
Yes, it looks like a BOMB.
It was lying innocuously in one corner of the living room, hidden inside a black case. He took it out to admire sometime this afternoon, was upstairs sleeping and attempting to do history so didn't notice it till after dinner.
Here's the conversation~
Me: What's that?!?!
Dad: An underwater scooter.
Me: O________O OMGGGG. How much did it cost? $5000? $10000?
Dad: *fidgets* Err, around $5000
Me: O________O ... ... Does mum know?
Dad: Ummmmmmmmm ... *gives innocent look*
Me: WHAT! WHEN DID YOU BUY IT!
Dad: Sometime last week (when mum and I were away)
Me: So are you gonna tell her?
Dad: *grinning evilly* Ask no questions and I'll tell you no lies ... as far as she's concerned its just a black box :) If she asks I'll just say it's a modified lawnmower ... it's more worth it than a $5000 jacket anyway.
Holidays haven't been supremely eventful, been going out abit, having tuition and trying to do work (abeit quite unsuccessfully) Vietnam was awesomeeeee. Kinda stayed around with Nanny Hong, Mell, Rachel, Shamus Da Xian and Yu Meng for most of the trip ... had loads of fun crapping, playing cards on the bus and whatnot.
And of course, had great fun with these people, love you guys loads ... S65 ftw!
Yumeng (happy belated birthday I am damn jealous of your new 300GB macbook) says that we should go eat PHO! sometime :D :D :D Still can't believe we didn't eat pho in Vietnam -_- Sacrificed that go to shopping lol. But Vietnamese coffee rocksss. And the shopping got us all damn high, especially Mell. Awesome bargains~~ Got 4 Abercrombie polos, hollister berms, DKNY jeans and striped shorts from dunnowhere for a whopping $50 US total heehee ^__^ I miss Vietnammm (and Saigon Square ;) shhh don't tell Mr Shameless XD) Crazy cab rides and running around shopping malls at night and being on our own (freedom!) = ♥

Came back from Vietnam on the 28th and it was a great day :D Watched Indiana Jones ... nice action scenes ... the whole movie was abit unbelievable especially the last part like wth. Cate Blanchett provided much comic relief. The accent! and THE HAIR especially XD
30th May, band concert!

Randomly went to runwaycity sometime earlier this week, and found this wonderful photographer who ONLY USES FILM. And he's only in NS. Check out his LJ! ra1nforest ... plus he uses a Hasselblad. And he skips meals to finance his film/printing costs. 佩服佩服

Went to LZ's house last night, played quite alot of texas hold'em poker and lost $12 x__X then played mahjong~~~ Hopefully can play during bowling chalet too, then will be less slow and can eventually get to know the proper names for tiles instead of saying 'the green one' for 发财, 'the red one' for 红中 and 'the mirror/window thing' for 白板 :X
Bowling chalet next week, can't wait! Don't think I can stay over however, which sucks. History term paper is screweddd. Plus there's econs and math remedials, and I doubt there's time for chem remedial. Effectively have one week to study. Wonderfulll.
Happened to talk to Michael earlier and he told me that my HP number deviates from BooksActually by 1 digit, which is super amusing. Their number is 62211170 ... maybe if I offer to sell my number to them in the future they'll pay some exorbitant amount XD
